The EMEA workshop is divided into three programme items:
- Virtual Platform (June 15th - June 30th, 2021)
- Workshop day 1 and 2: consulting hours and poster price voting
- Workshop day 3: 1-hour online event
Virtual Platform for the online lecture library
We will provide a password-protected online platform for the view of the lectures and the download of the posters for the period from June 15th until June 30th, 2021 via https://emea2021.welcome-manager.de/virtual/index.php.

Please note: We have no influence on firewalls and company restrictions.
To access the online platform, participants must already be registered for the event.
On the Log In page, participants register with their email address and the password which has been set at the registration.
If a participant needs a new password, a new one can be set via the function "Request new password".
General information and USPS
- DLR’s framework agreement partner BESL will provide an online platform that is easy to use and at the same time fulfills all data security requirements.
- This online platform is developed by BESL. BESL is a German company based in Berlin, Germany.
- All data is encrypted according to current standards (TLS/AES256).
- Easy usability - Web-based access to the event platform via web browser, therefore no installation of software and no change of applications is necessary during the event.
Workshop Days 1 and 2
June 22nd - June 23rd, 2021
Consulting hours are organised individually.
All contributors should kindly offer consulting hours on the first and second workshop day. Within the consultation hour contributors allow questions and discussions for the other participants about his contribution. For this, contributors can use any meeting tool of his choice, e.g. Zoom, Teams, Skype for Business.
The consulting hours should be offered in such a way that all participants distributed worldwide have at least one opportunity to get in touch with him.
A timetable for the consulting hours will be published on the startpage of the virtual platform.
There will also be the opportunity to vote for the best posters, the link will be announced on June 22nd also on the virtual platform.
Workshop Day 3
June 24th, 2021
On June 24th a one-hour online workshop will take place. Therefore, we will meet in a virtual conference room. The virtual room is provided for EMEA 2021 via the tool GoToWebinar [GoToWebinar is compliant with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)]. Participants of EMEA 2021 will receive all access data and an invitation link for logging in via email on June 22nd, 2021.
Due to the different time zones the online workshop has to be limited and will be held in the following slot:

Following this workshop, we offer an open “coffee-table” via wonder.me. All interested participants are invited to join this informal meeting.
The link will be announced by the end of the official virtual workshop.
